Silada is compliance software operated by Amber + Oak. By signing in you agree to these terms. If you are using Silada on behalf of a company, you agree to them for that company.
Access is by invitation
Accounts are created by Amber + Oak or invited by someone who already has access to that client account. There is no public signup. You are responsible for keeping your password or Google account secure and for activity under your login. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access.
What you can use it for
Use Silada for your own company's compliance work. Do not try to reach another client's records, work around access controls, copy the service, or use it in a way that breaks the law.
Your information stays yours
Business and compliance records belong to the client they describe. Amber + Oak stores and processes them to provide the service. Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.
Not legal or tax advice
Silada records and helps prepare filings; it does not replace legal or tax advice. The client remains responsible for the accuracy of the information provided to Amber + Oak and for meeting its own obligations. Services Amber + Oak performs for a client are governed by that client's engagement agreement, which controls if it conflicts with these terms.
Availability
We work to keep Silada available and accurate, but it is provided as is. We may change, suspend, or update features, and there may be occasional downtime for maintenance or for problems with the services we rely on.
Ending access
Amber + Oak may remove a login that is no longer needed or is being misused, and a client may ask us to remove any of its users at any time. Ending access to Silada does not by itself end a client's engagement with Amber + Oak.
Limits
To the extent the law allows, Amber + Oak is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of Silada. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes
If we change these terms we will update the date at the top of this page and tell clients directly when a change is significant.
